Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall operations strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead annual business planning for volumes, revenues, margins and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, profitability and customer experience.
• Oversee daily operations of fuel retail network through regional leadership.
• Ensure consistent SOPs and brand guidelines across the network.
• Monitor KPIs: volumes, profitability, safety and service scores.
• Ensure HSSEQ compliance and regulatory requirements; lead emergency readiness.
• Lead budget development and control operating expenses; approve station investments.
• Oversee B2B operations (fleet cards, corporate accounts, smart cards).
• Collaborate with projects to plan network expansion and upgrades.

We Are Hiring For The Following Position Job Title: Operation Director Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the overall operations strategy aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
• Lead annual business planning for volumes, revenues, margins and operational KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, profitability and customer experience.

Retail Network Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations of all fuel retail network (COCO, DODO and CODO) through regional leadership.
• Ensure consistent implementation of operating standards, SOPs and brand guidelines across the network.
• Monitor key operational KPIs: Fuel volumes, profitability, safety metrics and customer service scores.

HSSEQ and Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with company HSSEQ standards, Statutory and regulatory authorities' requirements and Forecourt safety protocols.
• Lead emergency response readiness and incident management procedures across the network.
• Lead periodic audits and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.

Financial & Commercial Performance

• Achieve retail revenue, margin and cost efficiency targets.
• Lead budget development and control operating expenses across the retail network.
• Approve business cases for station investments, KDR projects upgrades and operational initiatives.
• Oversee B2B commercial operations (fleet cards, corporate accounts, smart cards) ensuring profitability and Customer retention.

Network Development & Expansion Support

• Collaborate with Projects, Engineering, Finance and Network Optimization team to plan new builds, renovation and expansion of company network.
• Review feasibility studies, project proposals and ROI analyses for network expansion.
• Ensure operational readiness for new stions and network redevelopment projects.

People Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead and mentor Regional Managers, Deputy Regional and operational Teams across all regions.
• Develop competency framework, training plans and succession pipeline for operation teams.
• Promote a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.

Customer Experience & Service Excellence

• Own the customer service agenda for all retail stations, ensuring high-quality service delivery across network.
• Oversee Mystery Shopper, Google Review and Customer Feedback improvement plans.
• Implement Service excellence programs and operational best practices.

Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with Supply and Distribution to ensure seamless fuel availability and inventory accuracy.
• Resolve supply bottlenecks, monitor fuel losses and optimize logistics performance.
• Support the rollout of automation and digital system for supply forecasting and wet-stock management.

Digital Transformation & System Improvements

• Lead the implementation of digital tools (POS, SAP system mobile apps, fleet card systems, station automation).
• Ensure data integrity across operational platforms for reporting analytics and decision-making.
• Drive digitalization to increase operational efficiency and customer convenience.

Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Present monthly quarterly performance reports to senior leadership.
• Ensure strict governance of operational policies, audits, contracts and dealer agreements.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, Supply, HSSEQ projects, IT, Marketing & Commercial teams to deliver business objectives.

Qualifications & Prerequisite Education

• Bechalor's Degree in Business Administration, engineering, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• MBA or master's degree in management business Analytics or Operations (preferred).

Professional Experience

• 7-12 years of experience in fuel retail operation, retail network management, oil & gas downstream operations, or related sectors.
• Minimum 5 years in senior managerial role (Regional Manager/Senior Operations Manager / Operations Head).
• Proven experience managing large-scale retail networks (COCO, DODO, CODO, B2B fleet Card Operations).
• Operation strategy.

• Experience with SAP, POS systems, station automation, fleet card systems, and mobile applications.
• Ability to lead digital transformation and operational system improvement projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams across multiple regions.
