Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business growth, store expansion, and operational objectives.
• Lead end-to-end logistics operations covering warehousing, transportation, replenishment, import-export, and distribution center activities.
• Drive supply chain improvement projects designed to increase productivity, service levels, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor stock availability across distribution centers and stores and implement corrective actions where shortages or excess inventory occur.
• Strengthen replenishment processes to maintain appropriate inventory levels and improve product availability.
• Oversee transportation performance, route efficiency, delivery schedules, logistics costs, and service provider performance.
• Manage warehousing initiatives involving space utilization, productivity, inventory accuracy, receiving, dispatch, and operational controls.
• Coordinate import-export activities and ensure compliance with customs requirements and applicable regulations.
• Stay informed about regulatory developments that could affect customs clearance, sourcing, transportation, or product movement.
• Lead large-scale supply chain projects, including process redesign, digital logistics initiatives, automation, and business transformation programs.
• Track operational and project performance through supply chain KPIs and management reporting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality, product availability, and operational resilience.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, freight partners, and other external service providers.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Technology, and other internal teams to improve end-to-end supply chain execution.
• Ensure supply chain operations comply with company policies, audit requirements, safety standards, and governance controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and establish mitigation plans for operational disruptions, supply constraints, and logistics challenges.
• Lead, coach, and develop supply chain teams while strengthening performance management and succession planning.
• Promote continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across logistics and distribution operations.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor 's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or closely related operations is required, including a minimum of 5 years within retail logistics, supermarkets, hypermarkets, major retailers, or established logistics service providers. Candidates should demonstrate strong operational knowledge of warehousing, transportation, replenishment, import-export, inventory management, and sourcing-related supply chain activities.
