Job summary

English Path is seeking a Subject Tutor to support international students through foundation and pathway programmes, helping them prepare for entry into undergraduate programmes. The role is fully on-site, part-time (10 hours per week), and requires a Masters in the subject area with relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in the subject area.
• Postgraduate teaching qualification desirable.
• Minimum two years teaching experience.
• Experience with Western-style curricula.
• Experience with international students.
• Experience with academic assessment and feedback.
• Effective use of ICT and digital tools.

• Plan and deliver engaging teaching aligned with programme outcomes and academic standards.
• Develop students’ subject knowledge, critical thinking, problem-solving and independent learning skills.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learning needs and encourages participation.
• Set, assess and provide constructive feedback on assignments in line with programme criteria.
• Support students in adapting to higher education and developing effective academic skills.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Participate in training, team meetings, teaching workshops and academic planning.
