Job summary

English Path is seeking an experienced Subject Tutor to contribute to foundation and pathway programmes, preparing international students for undergraduate entry.

The role involves delivering high-quality instruction in the specialist subject area on-site, as part of a part-time schedule (10 hours per week). A Masters in the subject and a teaching qualification (desirable) are noted, with experience in Western-style curricula and international contexts preferred.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in the subject area (Masters).
• Recognized teaching qualification (desirable).
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• Experience delivering in a Western-style curriculum.
• Experience with international or diverse student cohorts.
• Experience in higher education/international context.
• Experience of academic assessment, marking and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging teaching aligned with outcomes and standards.
• Develop students' subject knowledge, critical thinking and learning skills.
• Create inclusive learning environments for diverse learners.
• Set, assess and provide feedback on assignments per criteria.
• Support students' adaptation to higher education and skills.
• Maintain accurate academic records and support quality assurance.
• Participate in training, meetings and curriculum planning.
• Contribute to integrated teaching across the curriculum.
