Job summary

NADEC Foods is seeking a Specialist – HSE to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety & Environment standards across our operations in Saudi Arabia. The role emphasizes risk assessments, HSE audits, inspections, and fostering a strong safety culture.

Based at company premises with occasional travel, you will advise employees on safety requirements, assist incident investigations, and coordinate with Engineering, Technical, Purchasing and service vendors to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably FMCG or manufacturing.
• HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or IOSH Managing Safely are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of current international and industry-based HSE standards.
• First Aid knowledge/certification.
• Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving, communication, and time management.
• A proactive HSE professional who can identify risks, promote a strong safety culture, communicate effectively with different stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support risk assessments, HSE audits, and workplace inspections.
• Identify unsafe behaviors and conditions and support corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to employees on occupational health and safety requirements.
• Support HSE awareness sessions and employee safety training.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause identification, and reporting.
• Support inspection, testing, and maintenance of firefighting equipment and systems.
• Prepare HSE reports, audit reports, and maintain accurate HSE documentation.
• Support safety improvement projects and coordinate with Engineering, Technical, Purchasing, consultants, and service vendors.
• Monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, standards, and applicable legal requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes.
