Job summary

Ninja is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee dark stores across the North region. You will lead inventory, picking and packing, order fulfillment, and store operations to deliver fast, accurate, and exceptional customer service every day.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in dark stores, quick commerce, grocery e-commerce, retail, fulfilment or warehouse operations.
• Experience managing multiple locations and high-volume operational teams.
• Data-driven with leadership, problem-solving and execution skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure targets for order accuracy, fulfilment speed, product availability, and customer service.
• Lead and develop Store Managers and operational teams, including staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor KPIs such as picking productivity, inventory accuracy, stock availability, shrinkage, wastage, and order fulfilment time.
• Identify operational gaps and implement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, cost, and customer experience.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Last Mile, Commercial, and Customer Experience teams to resolve issues and improve service levels.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards across all stores.
