Job summary

FEV Consulting Middle East FZ-LLC seeks a senior Cost Controller/FP&A lead to drive budgeting, forecasting and performance management for international clients in mobility and energy sectors. Based in Riyadh, you will guide senior leadership with actionable financial insights and manage client relationships.

You bring 8+ years in consulting or industry, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and an entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset. Some travel may be required to support engagements across the region.

Qualifications

• Lead cost controlling, FP&A, and project controlling across international clients.
• Develop performance management frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures.
• Advising senior management on financial decisions and risk.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable recommendations.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and presentation skills.

YOUR ROLE

• Lead and manage cost controlling, financial performance, and business planning projects for international clients.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, project controlling, and profitability management across Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations functions.
• Develop and implement performance management frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures.
• Identify cost drivers, financial risks, and optimization opportunities to improve business performance.
• Advise senior management and executive stakeholders on strategic and operational financial decisions.
• Lead the preparation of management reports, executive presentations, and business cases.
• Drive financial transparency and performance monitoring throughout transformation programs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development activities.
• Support proposal development, project acquisition, and the expansion of FEV Consulting’s Cost & Value Management capabilities

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in Cost Controlling, FP&A, Project Controlling, Performance Management, or Management Consulting, preferably in automotive industry or industrial products.
• Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships in consulting, automotive, manufacturing, industrial, or technology environments.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business performance management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable recommendations from complex data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI and analytics tools is an advantage.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a structured and results-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage
• Willingness to travel if required by client engagements
