Job summary

FEV Consulting Middle East FZ-LLC in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our finance team in a hybrid role. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis across procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations for automotive and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cost controlling or related fields, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and fluency in English. Travel may be required for client engagements and project oversight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cost Controlling, Cost Engineering, Product Costing, Manufacturing Controlling, Procurement, or Automotive Consulting.
• Experience in consulting, automotive, engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technology environments.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting methodologies.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; BI/reporting tools advantageous.
• Fluent in English; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

• Lead project controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue tracking, and profitability analysis.

• Analyze cost drivers, variances, financial risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support project managers and leadership teams with financial planning and decision-making.
• Prepare management reports, executive presentations, and client-facing analyses.
• Drive transparency regarding resource utilization, project margins, and operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement cost optimization measures and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
• Contribute to transformation and performance improvement programs in international environments.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Cost Controlling, Cost Engineering, Product Costing, Manufacturing Controlling, Procurement, or Automotive Consulting
• Experience within consulting, automotive, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or technology environments.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel if required by client engagements.
