Job summary

HCP Automotive in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Network Development Manager to lead national network planning for the group and collaborate with OEM partners to align facilities and standards with growth plans. Reporting to the General Manager, you will assess market coverage, identify expansion opportunities, monitor dealer performance and guide new and existing facilities across the Kingdom.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Development Manager on behalf of our client, a respected automotive dealer group in Saudi Arabia. The appointment will have national responsibility for the development of the company’s retail network, working closely with its OEM partner(s) to ensure that the business has the right presence, facilities and standards to support its future plans.

Your Remit

Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the network planning and development agenda across the Kingdom. This will include assessing market coverage, evaluating opportunities for expansion, overseeing dealer performance and guiding the development of new and existing facilities.

The role will involve regular interaction with the OEMs’ regional offices in Dubai, franchise partners and senior management. You will assess where the network can be strengthened, address areas requiring improvement and ensure that agreed retail and aftersales standards are properly implemented. The position therefore calls for someone who can look beyond individual dealerships and understand how the network as a whole should evolve.

About You

You will have sound experience in the automotive industry, ideally acquired within an importer, distributor or sizeable dealer group, and a strong understanding of how a retail network is planned, developed and managed.

Your background should include exposure to dealer standards, network strategy, market assessment, facility development and aftersales operations. You will be commercially astute, comfortable working with performance data and capable of making well-considered recommendations on matters that affect both the customer experience and the wider business.

Just as important will be your ability to work effectively with an OEM, franchise partners and colleagues at different levels of the organisation. You will be a credible and measured communicator, with the judgement to manage competing interests and the persistence to see agreed actions through.
