Job summary

Holystar Arabia is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia, focusing on Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role requires deep hands-on MV switchgear expertise and travel to customer sites for on-site activities.

You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, prepare service reports, and provide customer training while adhering to HSE standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in switchgear installation, testing, commissioning, and field service activities.
• Strong hands-on experience with MV switchgear.
• Technical knowledge of protection relays, control panels, IEC 61850, and SCADA systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MV switchgear and electrical products.
• Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and replacement of switchgear components.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure reliable equipment performance.
• Ensure all service activities comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Prepare technical service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to customers at project sites.
• Maintain testing tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery.
