Job summary

Dammam Airports Company is seeking a project management professional for landside initiatives. The role involves coordinating stakeholders, overseeing day-to-day project execution, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–4 years of project management experience, preferably in airport projects. PMP is preferred and English/Arabic language skills are expected.

• Relevent Experience 3 to 4 years of experience in projects management, prefer airport projects management experience
• Professional Licenses, Accreditations & Certifications
• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP)

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders during budget approval process and ensure resources for landside projects.
• Oversee daily execution of landside projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Ensure project compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards, conducting regular site inspections.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align project timelines with operational needs.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring quality work and compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate project submittals with the engineering team and issue work permits.
• Review and approve contractor invoices in line with deliverables and payment terms.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or costs with mitigation strategies.
• Apply change management procedures for variation orders and secure approvals.
• Maintain project documentation, safety reports, quality records, and progress updates.
• Provide regular project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure archiving of project records in the database.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover processes with stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.
• Lead project teams, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to meet requirements.
• Develop communication strategies to inform about progress and resolve issues.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain timelines and quality.
• Foster knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

Job description

Project Management

• 1. Engage with stakeholders during the budget approval process and ensure necessary resources for landside projects.

• 3. Ensure project compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards, conducting regular site inspections.
• 4. Coordinate with internal departments, such as terminal management and parking services, to align project timelines with operational needs.
• 5. Monitor contractor performance, ensuring quality work and compliance with all project requirements.
• 6. Coordinate project technical submittals with the engineering team and issue necessary work permits.
• 7. Review and approve contractor invoices in line with deliverables and payment terms.

Change Management

• 8. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or costs, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented and documented.
• 9. Apply Dammam airports change management procedures for any variation orders, securing approvals from stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting

• 10. Maintain accurate project documentation, including safety reports, quality records, and project progress updates.
• 11. Provide regular project reports to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency in project execution.
• 12. Ensure proper archiving of all project records in Dammam airports database, including final reports and documentation.

Project Closeout

• 13. Ensure project closeout activities, including submission of warranties, performance bonds, and other necessary documentation.
• 14. Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover processes with stakeholders to ensure full operational readiness.

Leadership and Collaboration

• 15. Lead project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and conflict resolution.
• 16. Foster a collaborative work environment, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement among team members.

Stakeholder Management

• 17. Engage with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure their requirements are met.
• 18. Develop communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
• 19. Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations to avoid disruptions in landside operations.

Risk Management

• 20. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are maintained.
• 21. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on landside operations.

• 22. Work closely with team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning to enhance project execution.
• 23. Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry trends, improving skills and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of project management techniques.

Education Background Bachelor’s degree: Engineering or equivalent
