Job summary

Dammam Airports Company is seeking a Modifications and Minor Projects Landsides Project Manager to lead small-scale landside initiatives, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves coordinating with terminal management and parking services, monitoring budgets and schedules, reviewing contractor work, and preparing progress reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience in project management, preferably airport projects.
• Preferred PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders during budget approval and ensure resources for landside projects.
• Oversee daily landside project execution within timelines and budgets.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and security compliance with site inspections.
• Coordinate with terminal management and parking services to align project timelines.
• Monitor contractor performance and verify invoices against deliverables.
• Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes with documented mitigation.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover with stakeholders.

Job description

Execute small-scale maintenance and modification projects within the landside areas, ensuring the timelycompletion of projects, compliance with safety and legal requirements, and minimal disruption to public areas andlandside facilities

• Project Management:
• 1. Engage with stakeholders during the budget approval process and ensure necessary resources for landside projects.
• 2. Oversee the daily execution of landside projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• 3. Ensure project compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards, conducting regular site inspections.
• 4. Coordinate with internal departments, such as terminal management and parking services, to align project timelines with operational needs.
• 5. Monitor contractor performance, ensuring quality work and compliance with all project requirements.
• 6. Coordinate project technical submittals with the engineering team and issue necessary work permits.
• 7. Review and approve contractor invoices in line with deliverables and payment terms.
• Change Management:
• 8. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or costs, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented and documented.
• 9. Apply Dammam airports change management procedures for any variation orders, securing approvals from stakeholders.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• 10. Maintain accurate project documentation, including safety reports, quality records, and project progress updates.
• 11. Provide regular project reports to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency in project execution.
• 12. Ensure proper archiving of all project records in Dammam airpots database, including final reports and documentation.
• Project Closeout:
• 13. Ensure project closeout activities, including submission of warranties, performance bonds, and other necessary documentation.
• 14. Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover processes with stakeholders to ensure full operational readiness.
• Leadership and Collaboration:
• 15. Lead project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and conflict resolution.
• 16. Foster a collaborative work environment, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement among team members.
• Stakeholder Management:
• 17. Engage with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure their requirements are met.
• 18. Develop communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
• 19. Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations to avoid disruptions in landside operations.
• Risk Management:
• 20. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are maintained.
• 21. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on landside operations.
• Team Collaboration and Continuous Learning:
• 22. Work closely with team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning to enhance project execution.
• 23. Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry trends, improving skills and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of project management techniques.

Education Background Bachelor’s degree: Engineering or equivalent

Relevent Experience 3 to 4 years of experience in projects management, prefer airport projects management experience
