Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Business Development Representative for the Middle East to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Field sales team. You will qualify inbound and outbound leads, gather intelligence on assigned accounts, and connect influencers and decision-makers with the sales team to drive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent Arabic and English language skills required.
• Highly motivated with a competitive personality and attention to detail.
• Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and good organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a goal-driven environment preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and respond to product inquiries; follow up on marketing leads and convert interest into sales accepted leads.
• Gather actionable intelligence on accounts: competition, projects, purchase intent, etc.
• Manage email campaigns and cold-calling to generate new sales prospects.
• Maintain accurate tracking of communications with current and potential customers in Salesforce.com.
• Schedule demonstrations between Commercial Sales team and potential customers.
