Job summary

HanmiGlobal Co. is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to support design reviews, construction supervision and coordination for high-rise developments in Saudi Arabia.

You will ensure MEP works align with project specifications and local authority requirements, while coordinating with contractors and consultants. The role requires strong technical expertise, on-site coordination, and a track record in MEP systems' commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in MEP on high-rise tower projects.
• Mandatory experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of MEP systems, installation practices and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, submittals and method statements for compliance.
• Monitor and supervise MEP installation on site for quality and safety.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues and clashes.
• Ensure MEP works comply with Saudi codes and project specifications.
• Assist planning, scheduling and monitoring of MEP activities to meet milestones.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
• Prepare technical reports and site observations for management.

Role Summary

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design review, construction supervision, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems for the Project. The role requires strong technical expertise, site coordination skills, and experience in high-rise developments to ensure all MEP works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and supervise MEP installation works on site to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and clashes.
• Ensure MEP works comply with Saudi codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring MEP activities to meet project milestones.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Identify construction or design issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and site observations for management review.
• Support the MEP Manager in achieving overall project objectives related to cost, time, and quality.

• Strong coordination, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and fast-paced project environment.
