Job summary

HanmiGlobal Saudi seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to support design review, construction supervision, and on-site coordination for a high-rise project. You will ensure compliance with Saudi codes and international standards while supervising MEP installation, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in MEP for high-rise tower projects.
• Mandatory experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• PMC experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of MEP systems, installation and commissioning.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and supervise MEP installation works on site for quality and safety.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve issues.
• Ensure MEP works comply with Saudi codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring MEP activities to meet milestones.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
• Identify construction or design issues and support corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and site observations.
• Support MEP Manager in achieving project objectives related to cost, time and quality.

Role Summary

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design review, construction supervision, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems for the Project. The role requires strong technical expertise, site coordination skills, and experience in high-rise developments to ensure all MEP works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and supervise MEP installation works on site to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and clashes.
• Ensure MEP works comply with Saudi codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring MEP activities to meet project milestones.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Identify construction or design issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and site observations for management review.
• Support the MEP Manager in achieving overall project objectives related to cost, time, and quality.

• Relevant professional membership is preferred.
• 10–12 years of experience in MEP works for high-rise tower projects.
• Mandatory experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of MEP systems, installation practices, and commissioning processes.
• Strong coordination, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
