Job summary

Durucooperation in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Mechanical Inspector – Skid-Mounted Equipment to perform inspection and quality control for skid-mounted systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, project specs, industry standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.

You will conduct vendor inspections during manufacturing, fabrication, assembly and testing; verify materials, dimensions, workmanship and testing against drawings; review ITPs, specs, and QA records with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 6 years inspection experience in manufacturing plants.
• At least 2 years in skid-mounted equipment or similar.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good command of English.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector – Skid-Mounted Equipment to perform inspection and quality control activities for mechanically integrated skid-mounted equipment. The role will ensure manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and inspection activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable industry standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct vendor inspections of skid-mounted mechanical equipment during manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and testing stages.

• Verify materials, dimensions, fabrication, fit-up, workmanship, assembly, and testing against approved drawings and specifications.

• Review engineering drawings, inspection procedures, ITPs, specifications, and applicable project requirements.

• Verify compliance with relevant mechanical inspection standards and approved quality requirements.

• Perform inspections independently with minimal supervision and accurately document findings.

• Identify, report, and follow up on quality deviations and non-conformities.

• Review inspection and test records and ensure required quality documentation is complete.

• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, QA/QC teams, and project stakeholders to resolve inspection issues.

• Prepare inspection reports and support final quality documentation and acceptance activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including at least 2 years in the relevant commodity/process.

• Good command of English.

• Knowledge of industry standards, specifications, and fabrication methods.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.

• Ability to perform inspections with minimal supervision.

• Must meet additional requirements applicable to the specific inspection discipline.

• QM-35 – Skid-Mounted Equipment (Mechanical): QM-03 and QM-30 qualification with successful completion of the required interview.
