Durucooperation in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Vendor Inspector with expertise in cranes and rotating equipment/pumps to perform vendor inspections and quality control across manufacturing, assembly, and testing stages.
You will verify materials, dimensions, workmanship, and test records against drawings and specifications, review ITPs and standards such as CMAA, API 610, API 674, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Vendor Inspector with expertise in Cranes and Rotating Equipment/Pumps to perform vendor inspection and quality control activities. The role will ensure equipment manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and testing comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.
Conduct vendor inspections for cranes and rotating equipment/pumps throughout manufacturing, assembly, and testing stages.
Verify materials, dimensions, workmanship, fabrication, assembly, and testing against approved drawings and specifications.
Review engineering drawings, inspection procedures, ITPs, specifications, and applicable standards.
Verify compliance with relevant project and industry requirements, including CMAA, API 610, and API 674, as applicable.
Perform inspections independently with minimal supervision and accurately document findings.
Identify, report, and follow up on quality deviations and non-conformities.
Review inspection and test records and ensure required quality documentation is complete.
Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, QA/QC teams, and project stakeholders to resolve inspection issues.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports and support final quality documentation.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including at least 2 years in the relevant commodity/process.
Good command of English.
Knowledge of industry standards, specifications, and fabrication methods.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
Ability to perform inspections with minimal supervision.
Must meet additional requirements applicable to the specific inspection discipline.
QM-25 – Cranes: QM-03 qualification with successful completion of the required interview; knowledge of CMAA requirements.
QM-26 – Rotating Equipment/Pumps: QM-03 qualification with successful completion of Rotating Pumps CBT and Interview.
A valid API SIRE certificate may waive the CBT requirement for the applicable rotating equipment inspection.
