Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Projects team in Riyadh. You will review tenant MEP drawings, coordinate HVAC, ventilation, plumbing and other mechanical systems, and ensure designs meet approved provisions and standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ experience with building services, retail fit-out, or construction projects, and strong coordination and communication skills to support inspections, testing and handover activities in a mall or commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, MEP design, building services, retail fit-out, or construction projects.
• Practical experience with HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, and MEP coordination.
• Experience reviewing mechanical drawings and technical submissions.
• Experience with site inspections, snagging, and rectification works.

Responsibilities

• Review tenant mechanical and MEP drawings, technical submissions, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensure tenant designs comply with approved MEP provisions, technical standards, and fit-out requirements.
• Monitor tenant MEP fit-out works and conduct site inspections.
• Identify technical issues, non-compliant works, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, completion, and handover activities.
• Coordinate with tenants, consultants, contractors, Leasing, Development, Facility Management, Operations, and other technical disciplines.
• Maintain technical documentation, inspection records, approved drawings, and correspondence.
