Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of LV panels, MDBs/SMDBs, and UPS systems.
• Monitor daily electrical operations and troubleshoot faults for reliability.
• Supervise electrical technicians, foremen, and service contractors.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Electrical Code and safety standards.
• Coordinate shutdowns with mall operations and tenants.
• Monitor energy consumption and identify savings opportunities.
• Prepare maintenance and KPI reports and maintain system records.
• Raise purchase requisitions and monitor spare parts inventory.

About the Role

We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems within a shopping mall. The role will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, electrical safety and compliance, contractor supervision, emergency response, tenant support, and energy management in Dammam.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of LV Panels, MDBs, SMDBs, Distribution Boards, Transformers, Generators, UPS systems, lighting, emergency lighting, power sockets, and busbar systems.
• Monitor daily electrical operations, troubleshoot faults, and ensure system reliability.
• Supervise electrical technicians, multi-skilled technicians, foremen, and service contractors.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Electrical Code, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate electrical shutdowns and maintenance activities with mall operations and tenants.
• Monitor generator testing and emergency power systems.
• Conduct electrical inspections, testing, and thermal scanning.
• Support CAPEX, renovation, and improvement projects.
• Prepare maintenance reports, KPI reports, and electrical system records.
• Raise purchase requisitions for spare parts and monitor inventory.
• Ensure maintenance activities are accurately recorded in CAFM/CMMS systems.
• Participate in emergency response and incident investigations.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
• Support the continuous improvement and efficient operation of mall electrical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
• Experience in shopping malls, commercial buildings, hospitals, or mixed-use developments.
