Cohere is seeking a Government Affairs Lead for the Middle East to shape AI policy and digital transformation in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You will establish relationships with senior government officials, monitor regulatory developments, and advise on policy implications for Cohere’s AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in government, public policy, or regulatory affairs.
• Experience engaging with senior government officials or public‑sector stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI policy, digital transformation, or technology regulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Cohere’s government affairs strategy across UAE and KSA.
• Build trusted relationships with ministries, regulators, and public‑sector entities.
• Monitor legal and policy developments affecting AI, cloud, data governance, cybersecurity.
• Draft policy submissions, briefings, and stakeholder engagement materials.
• Collaborate with sales, communications, and cross‑functional teams on regional initiatives.
