Parsons in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Materials Engineer (Architectural/Structural) to lead materials oversight across projects from design to field execution. You will manage testing, approvals, inspection, and compliance with project specs and international standards, coordinating with engineering, quality, procurement, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural/Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in construction materials engineering, testing, QC, or project quality management.
• Proven experience on major airport, infrastructure, civil, roads, utilities, or large-scale projects.
• Professional Engineering certification preferred (ACI/NICET/ASQ advantageous).
• ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement Review and Tracking: AML, PAML, and Long Lead Items tracking.
• Materials Governance (MQG) Submittals & Planning: MMPs/PQPs, IAP, PIM, CV reviews.
• Vendors, Third Party Testing & Inspection Agencies, Materials Technical Approvals: PQDs, MATs, FATPs, CVs.
• Physical Evaluations & Field Verification: Samples, Mockups, JMF Trials, Plant Trials Witnessing.
• Inspections & Testing: MIRs and third-party/testing labs assessments.
