Job summary

Unipal is expanding into Oman and seeks a Marketing Executive to grow our student base on campus, on social channels, and through campaigns with partner brands.

You will be our on-ground marketing presence in Oman, working with the central marketing and content team, the Oman partnerships lead, and Accounts Management to drive growth, activations, and ambassador programs.

Strong communication, goal orientation, and knowledge of Oman’s universities are essential to succeed in this frontier market.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years in marketing, growth, community, field, or student marketing.
• Experience running events, activations, or ambassador programmes.
• Comfortable with targets and numbers: you know which channel brought in which users.
• Good knowledge of Oman's universities and student culture.
• Self-driven: comfortable building from zero in a new market.
• Confident building relationships with students, universities, and brands.

Responsibilities

• Grow app downloads, sign-ups, and active students in Oman against monthly targets.
• Plan and run campus activations, events, and stands at Oman's universities and colleges.
• Build and manage a student ambassador programme from scratch.
• Run co-marketing campaigns with partner brands to drive redemptions.
• Brief the central Content Creator on local content needs and get content shot on the ground.
• Manage local social activity and community engagement for the Omani audience.
• Track campaign results and report what works, what doesn't, and what you'll change.
• Build relationships with university student clubs, societies, and staff.

About the role

Oman is one of our newest markets, and most students there haven't heard of us yet. Your job is to change that: grow our student base on campus, on social, and through campaigns with our partner brands.
