L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Saudi Arabia seeks a Manager Forensic Planning to lead delay analysis for major projects, delivering robust, evidence-based schedules and narratives to support claims and dispute resolution.
You will coordinate with Contracts, Commercial and Legal teams, review baselines and progress data, and mentor project planning teams to ensure audit-ready outputs and continuous improvement in forensic practices.
Job Purpose The Manager Forensic Planning is responsible for leading delay analysis forensic schedule reviews and claims support functions across projects The role supports contract administration dispute resolution and claim defense entitlement by providing robust evidence-based schedule analyses in accordance with recognized industry standards e g SCL Protocol AACE International The incumbent ensures that all time-related claims are substantiated with accurate data credible methodologies and clear narratives thereby safeguarding organizational contractual and commercial interests
Lead the forensic planning function across multiple projects ensuring consistency in methodology quality and deliverables Perform detailed delay analyses using recognized techniques such as Time Impact Analysis TIA Windows Analysis Impacted As-Planned Collapsed As-Built and other cause-and-effect methodologies as appropriate Review baseline schedules updates and progress data to identify delays disruptions concurrency and productivity impacts Establish cause-effect relationships between events and project delays ensuring defensible and audit-ready outputs Support preparation evaluation and rebuttal of Extension of Time EOT claims disruption claims and acceleration claims Interface closely with Contracts Commercial and Legal teams to develop claim strategies and responses Provide expert input for formal notices claim submissions and dispute resolution processes including adjudication arbitration or litigation support Review subcontractor and supplier claims to assess entitlement quantum and risk exposure to the organization Develop and maintain contemporaneous records strategy in coordination with project teams to strengthen claim positions Conduct forensic audits of project schedules and records to identify gaps risks and opportunities for claim recovery or defense Ensure alignment of forensic analyses with contract provisions including delay concurrency float ownership and mitigation obligations Prepare clear structured and contractually robust reports including narratives schedule extracts and evidentiary support Provide guidance and training to project planning teams on best practices for record-keeping baseline integrity and delay identification Participate in negotiations with clients consultants and subcontractors on time-related claims and disputes Support management in risk identification and mitigation related to time and cost impacts across projects Drive continuous improvement in forensic planning tools processes and templates
