Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a Senior Forensic Delay Analyst for major infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires leading forensic delay analyses, evaluating complex delay claims and guiding multidisciplinary teams through critical path assessments.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in forensic delay analysis, familiarity with Primavera P6, and strong English communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years of specialized experience in forensic delay analysis and claims management.
• Experience on giga projects or large-scale infrastructure valued at ~$1B preferred.
• Proven knowledge of FIDIC contracts and Saudi construction law advantageous.
• Chartered Engineer or PMP or equivalent certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive forensic delay analysis and critical path assessments to quantify delays.
• Review and assess delay and disruption claims and produce expert reports.
• Analyze complex schedules using Primavera P6 and reconstruct programs.
• Evaluate extensions of time and disruption events to establish liability and quantum.
• Apply delay analysis methodologies including Time Impact Analysis and As-Planned vs As-Built.
• Prepare reports on delay causation, concurrent delays and acceleration impacts.
• Mentor junior analysts and develop team capabilities.
• Coordinate with project managers and cost consultants within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Forensic Delay Analyst will
• Forensic Analysis amp Claims Management
• Conduct comprehensive forensic delay analysis and critical path methodology assessments to identify quantify and document project delays Review and assess detailed delay and disruption claims producing expert reports Analyze complex construction programs using Primavera P6 software Evaluate extension of time claims and disruption events to establish liability and quantum Apply recognized delay analysis methodologies including Time Impact Analysis Windows Analysis and As-Planned vs As-Built

Essential Requirements

• Experience and Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years specialized experience in forensic delay analysis and claims management within the construction and infrastructure sector Demonstrable experience working on giga projects or large-scale infrastructure developments valued at 1 billion Proven expertise in delay analysis for complex construction disputes Bachelor s degree in Engineering Construction Management Project Management or related discipline Professional qualifications such as Chartered Engineer status Project Management Professional PMP or recognized planning certifications highly desirable

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 with demonstrated ability to analyze and reconstruct complex construction schedules Strong understanding of critical path methodology and schedule logic Comprehensive knowledge of recognized delay analysis methodologies including those outlined in the Society of Construction Law Delay and Disruption Protocol Experience with standard forms of contract including FIDIC Red Book Yellow Book Silver Book contracts Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction law local market conditions and regional contractual frameworks highly advantageous
