Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Saudi Arabia seeks a Manager Forensic Planning to lead delay analysis for major projects, delivering robust, evidence-based schedules and narratives to support claims and dispute resolution.

You will coordinate with Contracts, Commercial and Legal teams, review baselines and progress data, and mentor project planning teams to ensure audit-ready outputs and continuous improvement in forensic practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the forensic planning function across multiple projects with consistent methodology and deliverables.
• Perform detailed delay analyses using TIA, Windows, and other methods.
• Review baselines, updates, progress data to identify delays and productivity impacts.
• Establish cause-effect relationships to support defensible outputs for claims.
• Interface with Contracts, Commercial and Legal teams to develop claim strategies.
• Provide input for notices, submissions, and dispute resolution processes.
• Review subcontractor claims for entitlement and risk.
• Maintain contemporaneous records strategy to support claim positions.
• Prepare structured reports with narratives and evidentiary support.
• Drive continuous improvement in forensic planning tools and templates.
