## Maintenance & Retorofit Proposal EngineerApplylocations: Riyadhtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR10027**Key Responsibilities****Site Inspections & Technical Assessment (80% of time)*** Visit operational desalination, water treatment, and industrial facilities to evaluate existing piping systems.* Conduct inspections jointly with plant operators and maintenance teams.* Diagnose issues such as corrosion, chemical attack, leaks, incorrect installation, or efficiency losses.* Record findings through structured checklists, measurements, photos, and technical notes.**Technical Proposals & Retrofit Recommendations*** Develop detailed technical inspection reports outlining system conditions, risks, and improvement opportunities.* Provide engineering recommendations using GF Flow Solutions portfolio (Polymer piping, Prefab, automation & measurement).* Prepare **technical retrofit proposals**, including required materials, technical rationale, and engineering clarifications.* Support clients with **technical** clarifications only; commercial matters are escalated to the sales team.* Estimate quantities and technical requirements for proposed solutions, enabling sales to build commercial offers.**Business Coordination & Knowledge Transfer*** Work closely with Business Development, Technical Support, Product Management and Prefabrication team.* Share site insights, recurring issues, market needs, and lessons learned.* Provide structured technical feedback to enhance GF’s strategy, service offering, and product/systems development.* Participate in internal technical workshops and alignment sessions.**Reporting & Documentation (20% of time)*** Deliver high‐quality inspection reports for clients and internal GF stakeholders.* Document and track retrofit proposals, technical justifications, and engineering evaluations.* Maintain organized records of all site visits, findings, and follow‐up actions.**Qualification & Skills:*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).* **4–6 years of field experience** in desalination, water treatment, or industrial process plants.* Experience working inside operational process plants is strongly preferred.* Strong understanding of piping systems, fluid processes, and plant maintenance operations.* Demonstrated hands‐on experience with inspections, troubleshooting, and technical reporting.* Fluent in **English and Arabic** (required)* Knowledge of **Hindi** is a strong advantage* Strong technical diagnostic and problem‐solving abilities.* Ability to convert field observations into precise technical engineering proposals.* Excellent communication and coordination skills.* Professional, disciplined, and comfortable working independently on site.* Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.Contact person:Miti ZalaTalent Acquisition & Employee Engagement Manager, GF G5 & [e-mail] submit your application via the ‘Apply’ button.
