Job summary

Georg Fischer Ltd. in Riyadh invites applications for a Maintenance & Retrofit Proposal Engineer. You will conduct site inspections of desalination and industrial facilities, assess piping systems, and draft detailed retrofit proposals with technical justifications.

Role emphasizes collaboration with BD, technical support and product teams, translating field observations into precise engineering documents while supporting clients with technical queries on a strictly technical basis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
4–6 years of field experience in desalination, water treatment, or industrial process plants.
Experience inside operational process plants preferred.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Knowledge of Hindi is a strong advantage.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Visit facilities to inspect piping systems and assess conditions.
Prepare technical retrofit proposals with materials and rationale.
Provide technical clarifications and support to clients.
Document inspection findings and retrofit proposals with notes.
Coordinate with Business Development, Technical Support, Product Management and Prefabrication teams.
