Job summary

KBR, Inc is hiring an Instrument Technician in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia to lead and coordinate instrument maintenance activities across plant facilities. The role requires ensuring reliability and availability of instrument assets to keep process units operating.

The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years in Oil & Gas maintenance, a Diploma, and strong knowledge of instrument systems. Willingness to travel internationally and work in a multi-cultural environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance in a similar role.
• Diploma required with strong technical understanding of maintenance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians for instrument systems.
• Execute monthly and weekly maintenance plans and report progress.
• Provide onsite maintenance and repairs on instruments, generators, transformers and motors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, standards, and contract terms.
• Develop day-to-day instrument maintenance activities in the designated area.
• Maintain records of daily maintenance and complete work reports.

We attract a diverse workforce and the best minds in the world because our expertise thrives on creativity, resourcefulness, and collaboration.KBR is looking for INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN who is responsible for ensuring Instrument assets are reliable and available in order to keep Process Units in operation.## **\*\*\* In order to be considered candidate MUST be Saudi National \*\*\*****Responsibilities:*** To Lead, supervise and coordinate activities of maintenance technician’s team and focuses in compliance with the preventive maintenance plan and an efficient and effective development of breakdown maintenance on Instrument systems, equipment and facilities within his area of influence, applying the best and safe maintenance practices.* the execution of monthly and weekly maintenance plan, Control & Submit progress reports on a regular basis.* Provide onsite maintenance and repairs on all types of Instruments (such as generators, transformers and motors). Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in accordance to standards, specifications, safety procedures, manufacturer’s recommendation and contract terms.* To lead, supervise and coordinate the day to-day activities of Instrument maintenance activities develop by technician on all Instrument systems plant, equipment and facilities within the designated area of responsibility. He is the Focal point for daily Instrument maintenance execution plan.* Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper execution of work and check on the activity’s technicians engaged in routine maintenance activities.* Follow-up on Instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the Instrument foreman with recommendations. Keep a record of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports, where applicable.* Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment by making recommendations to increase the suitability and serviceability of Instrument systems.* Proactive Safety aptitude and behavior.* Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Instrument systems.* Good knowledge in Instrument equipment design, installation and maintenance.* Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Mechanical and electro hydraulic systems* Strong knowledge of standards, procedures and regulation to develop activities taking care of Health, Safety and Environmental preservation* Strong communication and people skills.* Good commands oral and written English.**Qualifications:*** Minimum 7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.* Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities* Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills* Proven leadership skills with large organizations* Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems* Strategic management skills* An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment* Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA.
