SLS The Red Sea is seeking a Director of Spa to lead Ciel Spa, shaping a luxury wellness experience where indulgence and SLS flair converge. You will own spa operations, guest experiences, treatment standards, team leadership, and the spa's commercial performance, while partnering with hotel departments to create unforgettable wellness journeys.

The role requires senior leadership with a passion for wellness, strong commercial acumen, and a commitment to exceptional service in a premium resort

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Spa Management, Hospitality, Wellness, Business Management or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of spa or wellness experience, with significant experience in a senior leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort or premium spa environment.
• Proven experience managing a full-service luxury spa operation, with strong knowledge of treatments, spa journeys, retail and wellness programming.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasts, revenue, profitability, payroll and operational costs.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills with a highly polished, intuitive and personalized approach to service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy and daily operation of Ciel Spa, ensuring an exceptional and highly personalized guest experience.
• Establish and maintain outstanding standards across treatments, guest journeys, reception, relaxation areas, retail and all spa facilities.
• Curate and evolve the treatment menu, wellness experiences and spa programming.
• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing Spa team creating a culture of service and development.
• Drive the spa's commercial performance including revenue, profitability, and cost management.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts and business plans while monitoring financial performance.
• Implement revenue management, pricing, packages and upselling strategies.
• Monitor guest feedback and industry trends to enhance the Ciel Spa experience.
• Build partnerships with premium spa skincare, beauty, and wellness brands.
• Collaborate with Sales, F&B and other hotel departments to integrate wellness into the guest journey.
• Create seasonal programming and wellness events that generate guest engagement.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, retail product control and supplier relationships.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Establish SOPs and training programs for consistency across the guest journey.
• Prepare and analyze operational and financial reports including guest satisfaction and productivity.
• Stay informed of luxury spa trends and introduce new concepts.
