Job summary

Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche is hiring a Senior Housekeeping Manager to lead the luxury housekeeping team across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, plan staffing, manage laundry and inventory, and coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for VIP arrangements in a fast-paced 5-star hotel in Al Khobar.

The role requires previous luxury hotel management experience, strong operational skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping management experience in luxury hotels is essential.
• Experience in the luxury 5-star market is required.
• Strong operational background with brand standards implementation.
• Coaching and development of a professional management team is expected.
• Knowledge of Opera and Microsoft applications is preferred.
• Cost control including payroll, expenses and forecasting must be demonstrated.
• Well groomed and articulate in communication, with fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of guest rooms and public areas to standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Plan, organize, and record cleaning by room to maintain maximum cleanliness and efficient work patterns.
• Ensure room cleaning productivity is monitored and maintained as per standards.
• Manage laundry operations and inventory of linens and guest items.
• Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance for room readiness and VIP requirements.
• Ensure security of keys, storerooms, and guest bedrooms.
• Oversee external contractor work and ensure service contract standards.
• Prepare weekly staffing schedules and monitor attendance to meet hotel activity while controlling costs.
• Produce monthly reports for General Manager and Finance.
