Job summary

BRKZ, a leading construction-tech startup in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Operations Lead based in Jeddah to oversee regional fulfillment, fleet dispatch, and supply chain execution across the Western Province.

You will bridge local operations with Riyadh HQ, manage high-volume cement logistics, ensure Fasah permits, and drive data-driven improvements, KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Position Overview:

As The Logistics & Supply Chain Operations Lead you will oversee regional fulfillment, fleet dispatch, and supply chain execution across the Western Province. Based in Jeddah, this role bridges local ground operations with central teams in Riyadh HQ- managing high-volume bulk cement logistics, transporter networks, and KSA regulatory compliance

What You will do (Responsibilities) :

1. Operational Leadership

• Lead daily logistics and dispatch operations for the Jeddah region.
• Lead and supervise the regional operations team (coordinators, helpers), ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Manage warehouse, fleet, and fulfillment activities in the region.
• Act as the key point of contact between the Jeddah ops team and central teams (Riyadh HQ, product, sales, procurement, finance), managing cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure alignment of regional operational activities with company goals and strategies.

2. Delivery & Fulfillment Management

• Oversee the full delivery lifecycle on the BRKZ platform (BOB): delivery scheduling, transporter/vehicle assignment, and on-time closing of deliveries and orders.
• Manage high-volume bulk cement operations, including multi-truck orders, quantity splitting practices, and exceptional-quantity official deliveries specific to the Jeddah region.
• Ensure Fasah permits, delivery notes, and transportation cost entries are accurate, complete, and recorded per company standards.
• Ensure deliveries are assigned to transporters promptly once documents are received, avoiding delays in the delivery-closing process.

3. Process Optimization & Improvement

• Analyze current regional workflows and identify areas for improvement; drive continuous process improvement and cost control.
• Develop and implement SOPs, best practices, and operational guidelines for the region.
• Champion adoption of new tools and automation (unified delivery schedule, AI-assisted workflows, bulk assignment features) within the regional team.

4. KPIs, Data & Reporting

• Monitor regional KPIs and generate operational performance reports for senior leadership.
• Use operational data and dashboards (e.g., Metabase) to track deliveries, transporter costs, and team productivity; identify trends and drive data-driven decisions.
• Use analytics to forecast demand, plan resources, and manage regional operational capacity.

5. Team Management & Training

• Mentor, train, and support coordinators and helpers to develop skills and adhere to operational standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings, providing updates and ensuring clear communication across departments.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to meet operational demands and deadlines.

6. Customer, Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters (including third-party bulker fleets), and service providers in the Western region.
• Ensure operational processes meet customer expectations; resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction such as delivery delays or quality problems.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve concerns.

7. Risk Management & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards across regional operations.
• Identify operational risks (supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, resource shortages) and develop contingency plans.
• Ensure the region is prepared for audits, inspections, or regulatory assessments.

8. Strategic Planning & Budgeting

• Contribute to operational strategy development, focusing on long-term goals and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in creating and managing the regional operational budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Support senior management decision-making with data and analysis on operational expenditures.

Who You are (Qualifications) :

• 8-10 years of experience in operations, preferably in logistics/supply chain; construction/building materials experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, ideally managing distributed field teams.
• Analytical and data-driven approach; comfort with dashboards, trackers, and operational reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication in Arabic and English.
• Knowledge of KSA transport regulations, permits (e.g., Fasah), and Western Province logistics landscape.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah.
