Lenovo is seeking a proactive Logistics Team Leader to oversee our global inbound supply chain and manage KSA site operations. You will drive carrier performance, ensure SLAs are met, and collaborate with procurement to guarantee timely and urgent shipments are executed efficiently.

The role requires strong experience in freight operations, inbound processes, and cross-functional coordination, with SAP, Excel, and Power BI proficiency. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in global freight operations or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of inbound processes and customs.
• Ability to run carrier reviews and measure performance with metrics.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Power BI for tracking and reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day global inbound freight movements with a focus on KSA site shipments.
• Track carrier performance (on-time delivery, transit times, acceptance rates) and own carrier SLA data.
• Conduct regular check-ins with procurement and carriers to prioritize urgent shipments.
• Coordinate with Global Procurement and Freight Forwarding to align capacity and review SLAs.
• Guide the inbound logistics team and ensure standard procedures are followed.
• Manage outbound carrier relationships to ensure on-time pickups and bookings.
• Identify bottlenecks in inbound and implement SOPs to improve visibility and reduce delays.

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Logistics Team Leader to oversee our global inbound supply chain operations. In this role, you will hold global operational accountability while serving as the primary lead for our Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) site operations. You will manage carrier performance, drive service level agreements (SLAs), and work closely with internal procurement and cross-functional teams to ensure high-priority and urgent shipments are executed seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day global inbound freight movements, with a specific operational eye on KSA site shipments
• Track carrier performance for both inbound and outbound (on-time delivery, transit times, acceptance rates) by developing and owning carrier BMS
• Run regular check-ins with procurement and carriers to prioritize critical cargo, clear bottlenecks, and handle urgent freight
• Collaborate closely with Global Procurement and Freight Forwarding partners to align operational capacity, review carrier SLAs, and support vendor reviews
• Guide and support the inbound logistics team, ensuring standard procedures are followed and daily tasks are covered efficiently
• Manage outbound carrier relationships to ensure seamless pickup execution—making sure trucks turn up on time and bookings are fulfilled
• Continuously identify bottlenecks in the inbound pipeline and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance visibility and reduce transit delays.

Requirements

• Solid background in global freight operations, Supply Chain Logistics, or freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of global inbound processes, customs, and freight operations, with specific familiarity or experience handling KSA Supply Chain Logistics preferred
• Experience running carrier reviews and managing performance using concrete metrics
• Comfortable working with ERP systems like SAP, tracking tools, and reporting in Excel, Power BI
• Proficient English language knowledge both spoken and written English
