Job summary

Lucid Motors is looking for an Assistant Manager – Logistics Operations in the Makkah Region to support the Logistics team in overseeing the execution of in-plant logistics activities. The role includes managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution functions, as well as developing logistics strategies to optimize service and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 7–10 years of progressive experience, including 2-3 years in automotive logistics operations. Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2-3 years in automotive logistics operations or a supervisory/team lead role.
• Experience supporting large teams and complex distribution networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, and distribution functions.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize service levels and reduce costs.
• Oversee logistics planning for inbound and outbound logistics.
• Manage 3PL relationships, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align logistics activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators for logistics operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
