Job summary

ADC is seeking a focused Lifting Engineer to oversee lifting operations for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh/Diriyah. You will design, review, and execute safe lifting plans and supervise rigging teams to ensure on-site operations meet engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Certification: LEEA certification is mandatory (Part 1/2 or diploma).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 3–5 years in lifting engineering, rigging, and heavy equipment management.
• Sector background: civil infrastructure, earthworks, or heavy construction; KSA/Diriyah experience is a plus.
• Technical skills: crane load charts, rigging calculations, crane positioning, ground bearing pressures.
• Language: professional command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve standard and critical lifting plans (including tandem lifts and mobile/tower crane configurations).
• Monitor deployment and compliance of heavy equipment on-site; ensure rigging hardware meets specs.
• Enforce adherence to international lifting standards and internal HSE protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of lifting gear, heavy machinery, and ground conditions prior to lift execution.
• Coordinate with site rigging teams, lift supervisors, and equipment operators to ensure plans are followed.
