Job summary

Atkins Realis Group is seeking a Life Safety Engineer to join the Transportation Project Delivery team in Riyadh. You will contribute to the design, supervision, and commissioning of fire life safety systems for multi-disciplinary transportation projects, coordinating with design, engineering, and construction teams.

The role requires leading technical reviews, field inspections, and alignment with codes and standards, with a strong emphasis on safety, governance, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Hold a degree in engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in life safety and fire protection for transport facilities.
Experience with design supervision, construction, and commissioning.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and authorities’ requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on life safety systems design and construction.
Coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction for fire life safety compliance.
Ensure designs and constructions meet technical requirements through reviews and testing.
Provide field engineering support via inspections during construction phases.
Prepare progress reports on fire and life safety design progress and issues.
Mentor client staff and promote a safety-focused culture.
