Qualifications

• Proven experience operating NDT equipment and interpreting results.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, standards and procedures.
• Ability to verify calibration certificates for equipment and consumables.
• Capable of preparing clear inspection reports for client submission.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate NDT results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Demonstrate thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of the NDT method being used.
• Exercise assigned responsibilities in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Verify that all equipment, accessories, and consumables to be used have valid calibration or conformity certificates.
• Ensure equipment, accessories, and consumables are appropriate for use according to approved procedures.
• Perform verification and calibration of instrument characteristics before conducting NDT.
• Prepare reports detailing inspection findings.
• Ensure inspection results conform to applicable standards or specifications before submitting them to the client.
