Job summary

Al- Othman Holding Company is seeking a highly experienced NDT leader to coordinate technical compliance at site operations and to prepare comprehensive reports on NDT activities. You will develop and implement written NDE practices for training and certification of staff, while aligning with management for daily tasks, staffing, mobilization, and equipment logistics.

The role requires expertise in NDT methods (RT, PT, MT, UT, VT, ECT), PAUT/TOFD/AUT, and Aramco approvals, with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field.
• Experience in procedure preparation for NDT.
• Saudi Oil & Gas experience preferred.
• NDT training and certifications of personnel preferred.
• NDT advanced technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure NDE technical compliance in day-to-day site operations and prepare weekly/monthly reports and statistics for NDT operations.
• Prepare and implement company’s NDE written practice for training and certification of NDE personnel.
• Follow and support technical compliance of operations head for day-to-day tasks, reporting, manpower planning, mobilization, transportation, and equipment arrangements.
• Prepare and implement technical procedures, policies, and business interests with proper execution.
• Instruct employees in Safety and quality requirements and ensure communication to crews.
• Notify Management of Quality & Safety violations.
• Provide instructions for Operational, Technical, Safety and quality requirements.
• Ensure daily progression and status of projects per technical requirements.
• Update records for NDT processes and communicate with management.

Job description

• To coordinate and ensure NDE technical compliance in day to day activities of site operations and prepare weekly/monthly reports and statistics as required for NDT operations as well as maintain inspections procedures
• To prepare and implement company’s NDE written practice for training and certification of NDE personnel
• To follow and support technical compliance of operations head for all day to day tasks, reporting, manpower distribution planning, mobilization, transportation, arrangement of equipment, ect.
• To prepare and implement the company technical procedures, polices and business interest with proper execution.
• Instruct employees in Safety & quality requirements and make sure they communicate the instruction to their crews.
• Notify the Management for all Quality & Safety violations
• Provide all instructions to all employees for Operational, Technical, Safety and quality requirements.
• To ensure operations are carried out for in daily distribution, progress, work status of each project as per the set technical requirements
• Responsible to ensure and follow the company written policies, strategic plans, procedures and work instructions all the time.
• To update company information in NDT, Follow up qualification of technicians, procedures, technics, and approval with clients.
• To communicate with customers for technical complaints management, crew planning & arrangements, technical compliance
• Monitor technical NDT performance, issue NCR’s and CA
• Follow quality & safety system requirements, quality control plans, and work instructions, for ensuring quality in service.
• Meet with customer representative in sites for daily operational, quality, administrative, HSE, and other project related technical requirements.
• Ensure proper response in time with the clients and customers to meet the requirements and arrangement of NDT
• Provide training to the team in HSE, quality, and other technical parameters as advised by the management.
• Follow up and updating task and targets with KPI monitoring, reporting to NDT section head with proper outputs for smooth execution of NDT crew and business as per the strategic plan and company policies.
• To coordinate administrative controls on NDT team and crew members for arrangement to ensure smooth executions, job rotation, task management, equipment handing, use and storage as required.
• To follow, support and report Operation Head for all communications, RFQ, invoices and POs as required.
• To keep updated records for all NDT processes as assigned and to communicate with the management as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Technical experience in procedure preparation.
• Saudi Oil & Gas experience will be considered.
• Experience in Training and certifications of personnel .
• NDT advanced and special technology experience.

Technical Skills:

• ASNT NDT LIII ( RT, PT, MT , UT, VT, ECT)
• PAUT , TOFD , AUT experience and Aramco approvals
• Proven NDT management experience within industrial / Oil & Gas projects
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods, codes, and international standards
• Leadership managing technicians and inspection teams
• NDT management within industrial projects
• Fluent in Arabic and English (Arabic language proficiency required)
