Job summary

GE Vernova in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Rigger 1 to lead the crane operator team during heavy-lift operations. You will develop lift plans, protect rigging gear, and ensure safe, compliant execution on-site.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher, English literacy, and a minimum of 3 years of rigging experience with Level 1 certification. You will inspect rigging gear, follow OEM and GE Vernova standards, and drive a culture of safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Lead and supervise crane operator team during lifting activities.
• Perform designed lifting plans to protect rigging gear and loads.
• Identify load weights and calculate sling sizes, sling angle stresses, and center of gravity (COG).
• Conduct detailed pre-lift inspections of all rigging equipment to ensure zero defects and OEM compliance.
• Ensure operations follow GE Vernova standards and document activities.
• Act as a team leader to promote a culture of safety on the shop floor.
