Job summary

GREENLAND GROUP is seeking a Rigging Supervisor in Saudi Arabia to oversee all rigging and lifting activities, coordinate crews, and ensure adherence to safety standards. The role requires leadership of Rigger I personnel and crane operators, with focus on plans, equipment, and compliance.

You will inspect rigging gear and verify load calculations, while conducting toolbox talks, risk assessments, and daily monitoring of operations in collaboration with site engineers and QA/QC teams.

Qualifications

• Experience of 5-10 years in rigging and lifting operations.
• Supervision of rigging teams and crane operators.
• Knowledge of HSE, permit-to-work, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all rigging and lifting activities to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate Rigger I personnel, crane operators, and lifting crews.
• Verify lifting plans, load calculations, and selection of lifting equipment.
• Inspect slings, shackles, wire ropes, hooks, and rigging gear.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work, and client safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments; monitor lifting operations.
• Report progress, equipment status, and coordinate with site engineers and QA/QC teams.
