Job summary

Pipecare Group in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Rigger Level 1 to join our team. The role focuses on planning, supervising, and executing rigging and lifting activities safely and efficiently on industrial sites in the oil and gas sector.

The candidate should hold a valid Saudi Aramco Rigger Level 1 certification, have at least 5 years of rigging experience, and be proficient in reading lifting plans and English communication, with a strong commitment to HSE standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Saudi Aramco Rigger Level 1 certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in rigging and critical lifting operations.
• Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and rigging drawings.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and lifting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise all rigging and lifting activities in accordance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, chains, wire ropes, spreader beams, and other lifting equipment before use.
• Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and lifting teams to ensure safe execution of lifting activities.
• Direct crane movements using approved hand signals and communication methods.
• Maintain lifting equipment records and inspection logs.
• Mentor junior riggers and report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Submit lifting plans prior to each activity and meet client schedules.
