Wood seeks a Quality Manager to support our projects business, focusing on developing a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia.

The role covers all aspects of quality management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement to ensure compliance with Wood’s quality systems and standards. The position emphasizes leadership in a dynamic, remote-site environment.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Quality management or related discipline (essential).
• Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques (essential).
• Lead Auditor qualification by a recognized industry body (essential).
• Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations (desirable).
• 10 years of relevant experience (preferably in the associated industry).
• Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Quality across the breadth of the organization and services.
• Engage key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
• Lead quality teams ensuring competence, appraisal, objective setting, and sharing of best practices.
• Plan and allocate resources (including people and budgets) to deliver objectives and deliverables.
• Drive the Wood BMS across the organization and ensure compliance and external certification as appropriate.
• Ensure consistent implementation of Quality systems (NCR, improvements, lessons learned).
• Support tenders and proposals for the organization.
• Plan and execute risk-based assurance plans and escalate significant findings to senior leaders.
• Monitor delivery performance data and report themes to senior leaders; drive margin enhancement.
• Drive quality across the supply chain to ensure right first-time delivery; act on customer feedback.

Wood is currently seeking a Quality Manager to support our projects business. The role involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Management of all aspects of Quality across the breadth of their respective organization and the services we provide.
• Identification and regular engagement of key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
• Management of and regular engagement with their quality teams ensuring competence assurance, performance appraisal, objective setting, and sharing of best practices.
• Effective planning and allocation of resources (including people and budgets) enabling delivery of agreed objectives and deliverables.
• Driving the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across their organization ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed, and improved as necessary. Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate.
• Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across their organization (e.g. NCR, Improvement action, and lessons learned).
• Supporting tenders and proposal activities for their organization
• Planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to senior leaders.
• Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders, and undertaking intervention as required.
• Driving efforts to maximize margin enhancement
• Ensuring that quality is driven across the Supply chain to assure the right first-time delivery.
• Gathering and acting upon customer feedback ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
