Job summary

TRACTEBEL in Saudi Arabia seeks a Project Design Coordinator to work on thermal power projects based in Jeddah/Riyadh. You will act as the primary liaison between the CONSULTANT, EPC contractor, and client stakeholders to coordinate design reviews and approvals.

Responsibilities include tracking deliverables, maintaining schedules, organizing meetings, and ensuring quality control. You will manage documentation, risk and change processes, and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in large thermal power projects.
• Experience coordinating engineering deliverables and managing stakeholder interactions.
• Familiarity with EPC projects or infrastructure projects.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact between CONSULTANT, EPC contractor, and stakeholders to manage design deliverables.
• Track submission, review, and approval of drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Maintain schedules for deliverable reviews and approvals.
• Organize regular meetings with stakeholders to review status.
• Prepare agendas and meeting minutes.
• Maintain records of submissions, approvals, revisions.
• Identify and mitigate schedule risks.
• Coordinate changes to engineering deliverables and document changes.
• Prepare monthly project status reports.
