Job summary

TRACTEBEL in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Design Instrumentation and Control Engineer to lead specification development, design reviews, and engineering coordination for large Thermal Power Projects (EPC scope).

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, 10+ years of experience, and strong English communication. Proficiency in design software, MDL reviews, FAT processes, and vendor interactions is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree approved by Saudi Council of Engineers in Instrumentation and Control.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in large Thermal Power Projects.
• Experience in design reviews, EPC submittals, FAT procedures, and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications and coordinate design reviews with Contractors and Consultants.
• Manage design works and reviews for Instrumentation and Control in EPC projects.
• Review MDL, P&IDs, GA/Layout, calculations, CFD modeling, and FAT procedures and reports.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and proficient use of design software.
