Tasnee in Jubail, KSA, is hiring a Process Safety Engineer to support safety processes and create a culture of safety. You will work on developing and implementing safety procedures for operations, maintenance, and projects, focusing on reducing incidents and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role reports to the Superintendent, Loss Control. Requires a Bachelor’s in chemical or process safety engineering and 2+ years in oil & gas.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in chemical or process safety engineering with more than 2 years’ experience within a reputed Oil & Gas organization.

Responsibilities

Review the process for process related hazards and propose interventions to ensure safe operational activity.
Incorporate safety precautions and standards to ensure safe operating procedures across activities.
Update knowledge on international and industry safety best practices on an ongoing basis.
Analyze activities for significant risk and propose risk controls with profiling and monitoring.
Study projects from design to construction to ensure safe environment during construction and operation.
Provide safety guidelines prior to alterations and modifications to prevent incidents.
Identify new hazards and recommend controls.
Inspect sites and conduct safety surveys for compliance with procedures and standards.
Investigate incidents and prepare reports for management review.
Assist with awareness and training programs on process safety issues.
