Job summary

Aramco's Loss Prevention organization seeks a Safety Engineer to join its Saudi Arabia operations. The role provides daily field safety support to facilities and requires implementing the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System with occupational and process safety commitments.

The successful candidate will perform field inspections, advise on risk controls, support incident investigations, and deliver LP training while mentoring junior staff in a high‑profile energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 7 years of experience as a safety professional in oil, gas, petrochemicals or related industries.
• Excellent ability to communicate in English with peers and management; produce clear written reports.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate implementation of the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System and safety objectives.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with codes and standards; identify safety concerns and propose corrective actions.
• Evaluate safety tasks and control methodologies (e.g., LOTO, confined space, hydrogen sulfide) and advise on mitigations.
• Participate in risk assessments (PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs) and incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide technical assistance during/after hours.
• Mentor LP personnel and deliver Loss Prevention training to employees and contractors.
