Job summary

Client of Rawaj Company for Recruitment is seeking a Lead Planning Engineer to lead all planning and scheduling activities across multiple large-scale residential projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires Primavera P6 expertise, deep project controls knowledge, and strong reporting abilities.

The candidate will develop integrated schedules, monitor progress, analyze delays, and prepare recovery plans to deliver projects on time and within contractual requirements, while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of planning and scheduling experience on EPC, construction, or large engineering projects.
• Strong experience using Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Experience with high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, hospitality or mixed-use developments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of baseline project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare detailed execution schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing and handover activities.
• Monitor progress and compare actual performance against baselines.
• Perform critical path, delay analyses and schedule risk assessments.
• Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for schedule deviations.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule alignment.
