The role requires extensive experience with large-scale multi-billion SAR projects, proficiency in Primavera P6, earned value, risk analysis, and close collaboration with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years planning experience with Tier 1 main contractors.
• Experience on multi-billion SAR construction projects, including high-rise towers.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related.
• PMP, PSP, or equivalent certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tool.
• Prepare baseline, recovery, and revised project plans through the lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct critical path and delay analysis, and EOT assessments.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and executive planning presentations.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align activities and schedules.
• Review subcontractor programmes and monitor progress against milestones.
• Support EOT claims with detailed planning analysis and schedule impact.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide senior management with recommendations.
• Ensure planning processes comply with specifications, contracts, and standards.
• Identify risks related to scheduling and develop mitigation and recovery plans.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for major construction projects, ensuring timely delivery while supporting project teams with planning, progress reporting, and schedule analysis. This role requires extensive experience working on large-scale, multi-billion SAR building projects with Tier 1 main contractors
