Fluor Corp in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Area Manager (Mechanical) to lead all mechanical construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities within the metals recycling facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 15+ years in mechanical construction/ commissioning, and 8+ years in leadership, with experience on large-scale projects and strong knowledge of rotating and piping systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15+ years in mechanical construction, commissioning or project execution.
• Minimum 8+ years in supervisory or area management.
• Experience on large-scale Mining & Metals, or heavy industrial projects.
• Knowledge of codes: ASME, API, ISO.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM contractors.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Oversee equipment installation (crushers, conveyors, pumps, tanks, pipes).
• Coordinate with engineering, process, electrical, and operations teams.
• Manage EPC/EPCM contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and resources to hit milestones.
• Mentor engineers, supervisors, and field staff.
