Job summary

WETICO is seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to lead civil and structural design for EPC water and wastewater projects, coordinating with process, mechanical, electrical, and BIM teams.

You will oversee reviews across conceptual to detailed engineering, ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, and drive value engineering while delivering projects from tender through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–12 years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Extensive EPC project experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel design.

• Lead civil and structural design for EPC water and wastewater projects.
• Review conceptual, FEED, basic, and detailed engineering packages.
• Lead engineering activities from tender prep through project execution.
• Review civil calculations, reports, drawings, and vendor drawings.

WETICO is looking for an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team and lead civil and structural engineering activities across water, wastewater, desalination, industrial water, pumping station, reservoir, and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil and structural engineering design for EPC water and wastewater projects.
• Review conceptual, FEED, basic, and detailed engineering packages.
• Lead engineering activities from tender preparation through project execution.
• Review civil calculations, reports, drawings, shop drawings, and vendor drawings.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and BIM teams.
• Support construction activities and resolve technical and engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8-12 years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Extensive experience in EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel design.
• Experience in design review and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience working with Saudi clients and international consultants.
• Knowledge of constructability and value engineering.
• Familiarity with Saudi regulations and authority requirements.
