Job summary

Hr90 Degrees Consulting Services FZ LLC seeks a senior leader to head the Design Engineering function in the Water Business. You will drive innovative, cost-effective, sustainable engineering solutions for water and wastewater projects, guide bids and proposals, and lead multidisciplinary teams across process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and BIM disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or Water Resources Engineering.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Water Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Design Engineering function for the Water Business, ensuring delivery of innovative, cost-effective, sustainable and technically compliant solutions for water, wastewater, desalination, reuse, treatment, distribution and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership for bids, proposals, project execution and business development initiatives.
• Support market expansion into municipal, industrial, desalination, wastewater treatment and water reuse sectors.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams covering Process, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Control, Pipeline, Hydraulic Modelling, BIM and Digital Engineering.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within schedule and budget, coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations teams.
• Develop innovative technical solutions to enhance competitiveness and project win rates; participate in client presentations and technical clarifications.
• Promote Quality, Safety, Compliance and interface with clients, regulators and contractors.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or Water Resources Engineering.
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Water Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer preferred.

Experience

• 18-25 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 8-10 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
• Proven experience in large-scale EPC, Design-Build, Desalination, WaterTreatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Pumping Stations,and Pipeline projects.
• Experience in the Middle East/GCC region preferred.
